Jon Renau
Bob Monofilament Wig
Having a perfect hairstyle seems unachievable for most women. There is always a strand of hair that becomes frizzy or curly, split ends to be spotted here and there, or a color that just didn't take the way you wanted it to. Luckily, this will no longer be of any concern to you if you wear the Haute Wig by Jon Renau. This is a great looking chin length, bob wig that beautifully frames your face. It has a monofilament part, lace front cap construction that feels incredibly comfortable as soon as you put it on. You won't even realize that you are wearing a wig. Additionally, the hairs on the wig are synthetic but heat resistant, which means that you can even style them with straighteners or curlers or any of your other tools.

Care Instructions
Wash
- Before washing your wig or hair piece, gently remove tangles
- Fill sink with cool water and submerge wig of hair piece. Emulsify with your choice human hair wig shampoo or Synthetic wig shampoo into the hair. 1
- It is important to use shampoo and conditioner specially formulated for human or synthetic hair products.
- Gently lather the hair with shampoo, while making sure that the hair is travelling in the same direction, DO NOT rub hair as this may cause tangling.
- Rinse thoroughly in cool water until water runs clear.
- For Human Hair wigs, apply conditioner avoiding the base cap of the wig or hair piece
- With your fingers, work conditioner through the ends of the has for about 3-5 minutes
- Rinse thoroughly in cold water until water runs clear
Dry
- Wrap wig or hair piece in a towel and gently pat dry
- DO NOT use a brush to detangle your human hair wig while it is wet, gently use a wide tooth comb
For Human Hair Fiber:
- We recommend using a blow dryer (medium to medium-high heat) to style your human hair wig
- Using a boar bristle/nylon round brush, work through hair in 2" sections starting at the nape working in a downward motion to ensure that hair stays smooth. Blow hair dry completely directing the hair in the shape you want to style
For Heat Defiant Fiber:
- Spray with your choice of synthetic leave in conditioner
- Air drying your wig or hair piece will give the best results. You can gently blow dry (low-medium heat) using only a wide tooth comb.
For Synthetic Fiber:
- Allow wig or hair piece to dry naturally by placing on a plastic of wire wig stand. DO NOT blow dry.
- Your wig or hair piece can be styled closer to the head for a fuller look
- If fullness is desired, backcomb hair gently using your wig comb or brush then smooth the surface hair over
Style
For Human Hair Fiber:
- It is recommended to use professional grade heat styling tools with digital temperature settings to control heat
- Your styling tools should be set no higher than 350F to help maintain the integrity of the hair
- Work in small sections (1-2 inch starting at the nape)
- When curling your human hair, you can use small metal clips to hold each curl while cooling for a tighter, longer- lasting curl. For a looser, more natural looking curl, allow curls to hang while cooling.
For Heat Defiant Fiber:
- It is recommended to use professional grade heat styling tools with digital temperature settings to control heat
- We recommend only using a wide tooth comb and working at 270-280 degrees F.
- Gently comb hair free of tangles with a wide tooth comb
- Starting at the nape, take ½ inch to 1½ inch sections of hair (smaller sections = tighter curls, larger sections = looser curls)
- It is recommended to use a styling spray to protect the fiber
- Gather hair into curling iron, smooth through to the ends. Roll iron up towards base of wig, staying 1-2 inches away
- Hold for 10-15 seconds then turn the tip of the iron toward the ground and release curl into palm of hand
- Holding curl in one hand, gather up towards base and secure curl with a small metal clip (like a pin curl)
- Allow curl to cool completely (about 5 minutes); remove clip and let curl hang naturally
- Hair can be combed with your wide tooth comb or fingers to blend curls
For Synthetic Fiber:
- DO NOT use heat to style synthetic fibers and be cautious when standing near a heat source (i.e. open oven, heater, etc.) as excessive heat can damage the fiber.
- Simply use your fingertips of wig brush/comb for your desired style.
- Mono Top wigs allow multi-directional parting in the monofilament area. If the fiber is being resistant when changing the parting, warm your hands by vigorously rubbing them together and place your palm flat on the new part, hold for 10-15 seconds. The warmth from your hands will help the fiber settle into the new parting and direction.
- When cutting synthetic fiber, we recommend using a dense steel blade shear. We do not recommend using a razor for cutting synthetic fiber. This tool can shred the ends and lead to fraying and damage to the fiber.
